The Tahune Air Walk opened in July 2001 and is now rated in the 'top ten' visited attractions in Tasmania. This 597m walk amongst the trees got us 20m above the ground. The highlight was the cantilever that is 48m above the river level, providing fantastic views of the forests and the junction of the Picton and Huon Rivers.
The eagle glide experience started up at Tahune about 18 months ago. It's not an adrenalin rush as such, but it can be a little nerve wracking, especially if you're afraid of heights!!! Like my brother is! hahaha
